Spirit of Life Banquet
The Spirit of Life Banquet is sponsored by "Friends of the Bakersfield's AIDS Project" -- held every year to promote HIV/AIDS awareness. The evening consists
of dinner, music entertainment and an auction of tee-shirts that are designed by
our clients. We are grateful and appreciative of everything they do
to support the efforts of the Bakersfield AIDS Project.
AIDS Walk
Clients and supporters raise much needed funds through pledges from
friends, family and community members to continue client services. The
Bakersfield AIDS
Project continues to thrive because of it's many volunteers.
Fundraising Dinner (weekend
before Halloween)
Celebrity Auction, dinner, cocktails, music entertainment, and dancing.
We are eternally grateful for the continuing support

World AIDS Day (December 1st)
Your age, race, sex, place of residence, or income doesn't matter. HIV and AIDS affects everyone. Get educated, get tested, and get
involved in the global fight to stop the spread of HIV.
Supporters of Bakersfield's AIDS Project, persons living with HIV/AIDS,
their families, and friends gather at the "Liberty Bell" on Truxton Avenue
at 7:00 p.m. for a candlelight vigil.
We gather to remember those who have passed and to celebrate those who
SURVIVE! December in Bakersfield is freezing. But on that night, the
love and unity that we create together keeps us warm from within.
